I hope the writing of the the gorge was as easy on the spirit in a Wei Wu Wei, way as the reading ... It is delicious and took me to all sorts of visceral places ... I've looked into a few gorges from unsafe footings, and cast the "64 sided coin toss" and was delighted it was Watts your writing conveys the flow of the Tao as the something like Rumi's Field out beyond, between, behind and before the words hinting at the first line of the Tao de Ching"
I will savour the content and pointing and sit with it to see what resonates within
