Greetings. Thank you again to my paid subscribers. You are the glint in Santa’s eye, the fruit in my figgy pudding, the triumph of the five golden rings, and the gentle glow of lights on my Christmas tree. I would gladly share my last mince pie with you.
More seriously, your contributions help to keep my morale high and encourage me to keep sharing my thoughts in writing and audio regularly. You also help me to support my family in the context of the rising cost of living in the UK and I am very grateful for your support.
I hope I might have one more written post for everyone in me before Christmas, but for now, this week’s audio for paid subscribers is a brief personal musing on two weeks in the trenches as a (temporary) single parent, reflections on looking for a spiritual path that is neither Christian nor not Christian, and why I am beginning to chime with the spiritual outlook of Cynthia Bourgeault. I also share some thoughts on diversity in the context of an event tonight where I will initially be one of three white men on the screen.
I hope to write in more depth about all these issues for everyone in due course, but here is the initial 25-minute stream of consciousness.
I hope you enjoy it. Do let me know what you think.
Jonathan.
